Company
WJA Design Collaborative traces its roots to Whiteley Jacobsen Associates, founded in 1968 as a collaboration between engineer Jack Whiteley and architect Kurt Jacobsen. Our name and ownership have changed over time, but we have consistently provided owners and users with comprehensive, multi-discipline design services.
Today, WJA Design Collaborative offers a diverse suite of design services focused on delivering high performance buildings for customers not only in the Pacific Northwest, but throughout the United States and overseas. We are truly a Collaborative with design professionals in architecture, structural engineering, landscape architecture and interior design working together in the same office. Our collaborative approach extends outside our office with a focus on building relationships with our clients, our consultants and our construction partners. We strive to foster a teamwork approach that results in a positive project environment that differs from the norm in the construction industry. We enjoy what we do because collaborating with our partners makes for a more rewarding project experience. The results are clear: a built environment that supports a healthier, more sustainable future.
